![]() ![]() Hers is the link to the FSUPIC forum if you care to have a look. ![]() Probably your best bet would be to visit the forum and have a look around at what various people are using FSUIPC for to get a better understanding of what it can be capable of, as I’m sure that I have not done it justice. The other bonuses are the ability to create macros and what are called Lua files for almost any instrumentation or commands found in any default or add-on aircraft, and if you use any add-on weather programs FSUIPC has the ability to smooth the weather by letting control the speed at which the wind direction will change, so no more wind direction changes from headwind to tailwind in a split second which you can sometimes find. in the more 'advanced' aircraft and panels. I got tired of 200+ page manuals, set ups, preps, planning, switch setting, fuel planning, FMC programming etc., etc., etc. Well where to start, besides being able to control all of the commands in FSX or FS9 by using a single button press, I personally find it invaluable for any aircraft that have multiple engines of either the two, three or four engine variety when you are using a throttle quadrant as I do, in fact assigning any axis using FSUIPC as the control has far more flexibility with regard to being able to reverse the axis and filter and calibrate the axis. I love the Boeing package because it IS simple - I do 80 of my flying with the Overland Simmer's Sky stuff, and I'll probably buy the airbus this weekend. ![]()
